Craving for the 18:9 infinity display and bezel-less smartphones, like the Galaxy Note8, LG V30 or even the LG Q6? But you probably setback due to the hefty price tag of most of this smartphones. Bringing this beautiful display to the masses, Chinese mobile vendor ZOPO launched the Flash X1 and Flash X2 android smartphones in India. It’s one of the cheapest 18:9 infinity bezel-less smartphones available in the Indian market.
What’s the price? To be affordable to the masses, Zopo has priced the Flash X1 at Rs 6,999 and the Flash X2 at Rs 8,999. Both smartphones will be available early next month via both online and offline retail stores across India.
Infinity display and Performance
Both Zopo Flash X1 and Flash X2 is framed in a rim of solid zinc alloy with soft curved lines and rounded body. The biggest highlight is, however, the 18:9 infinity bezel-less display. Both mobiles got a perfect 18:9 screen aspect ratio, borderless bezels and 83% screen-to-body ratio. Zopo Flash X1 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS infinite display, whereas the Flash X2 comes with a 5.99-inch HD IPS display.
Under the hood, the Zopo Flash X1 is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor. Whereas the Zopo Flash X2 get’s a bit powerful 64-bit 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor. Both these processors are paired with 2GB of RAM. To store all your media content the mobiles pack 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 64GB using microSD card (hybrid card slot). The phones run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top.
Photography and Connectivity
For Photography, the Zopo Flash X1 and Flash X2 sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera. It also features f/2.4 aperture, IMX 219 sensor and LED flash support. For selfie addicts, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with f/2.2 aperture, soft light LED flash and various camera modes like Bokeh Mode and Face Beauty Mode.
Coming to connectivity, the Zopo Flash X1 and Flash X2 supports high-speed 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. The devices also support 4G VoLTE for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. For added security, both mobiles have a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the device. Finally fuelling the Flash X1 is a 2500mAh battery, whereas the Flash X2 packs a bigger 3380mAh battery.
