Disturbing the mid-range or we can say the low-end smartphone market in India, Yu unveils Yu Yuphoria android smartphone. Featuring premium metal body, 64 bit Snapdragon processor, 4G LTE connectivity, Cyanogen OS that runs on Android lollipop and 5 inch HD display. The smartphone is affordably priced at Rs 6,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India via flash sale model with first flash sale commencing on May 28th 2015.
Coming to the hardware specification of Yu Yuphoria, the smartphone features a premium look and feel through its stainless steel rim and streamlined body design. The smartphone flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280x 720 pixel that’s equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood the smartphone is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU, that offers immense gaming and smooth multitasking experience. The smartphone runs on the latest Android Lollipop based Cyanogen OS 12 that offers advanced features over stock android.
On the storage side Yu Yuphoria got 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD cards. On the camera front, the smartphone comes with a 8 megapixel back camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash support. On the front it got a 5 megapixel camera with 86 degree wide angle lens, that’s perfect for taking selfie. On the connectivity side the smartphone got dual-SIM capability with support for high-speed 4G LTE network along with 3G and 2G networks followed by WiFi and Bluetooth options.
