Did you brush your teeth today? Well, you should and probably do it two times a day. To help you brush your teeth more efficiently, Xiaomi has launched Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 in India. It’s an affordable model of the earlier launched Mi Electric Toothbrush T300.
The pocket-friendly Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 offers ultra-soft bristles, dual-pro brush modes along with EquiClean auto timer, high-frequency motor, a low-noise design and best of all, almost 30-days of battery lie. It could effectively remove plaque and reach the blind spot of your teeth.
The Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 is currently listed in the Mi Crowdfunding platform with a discounted price tag of Rs 549. The original price, once the crowdfunding campaign is completed would be Rs 599 (but you could expect a regular discount on it). If you’re purchasing during the crowdfunding section, then delivery for the same will start on 15th July 2020. Note that, there would be an additional shipping charge of Rs 50 with every order.
Interestingly, this price tag put Xiaomi in direct completion with Colgate and Oral-B. Colgate has its 360-degree Charcoal Battery Power Toothbrush in the Rs 460 – Rs 550 price tag and, Oral-B has its much affordable CrossAction Battery Toothbrush for Rs 359. So, instead of looking at the price difference, it would be good to check the features and comfort these electric toothbrushes offer before buying one.
Switch to Pro Brushing
That’s the tag line of Mi Electric Toothbrush T100. The electric toothbrush according to the company is designed with the help of Dentists. The brush heads are designed to cover just two teeth areas at once. The main advantage is that it offers effective brushing each one of your teeth. It comes with flexible, thin-tipped and ultra-soft bristles that are almost 90 per cent thinner than the normal nylon toothbrush bristles your normal use. Due to the ultra-soft bristles, it could loosen and whisk away plaque and dirt from difficult areas between two teeth or the blind spots of your teeth and gums.
The Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 powered by a high-frequency motor that produces up to 18000 vibrations per minute. This could effectively remove food particles, stains and bacteria from your teeth and gums with very minimal effort. With the 360-degree multi-dimensional cleaning, it can remove plaque and dirt, keeping your teeth and gums healthy.
The electric toothbrush comes with Dual-Pro brush modes – Standard Mode and Gentle Mode (for sensitive teeth) that could match your preferred style and pace of brushing. Combined with this is the EquiClean Auto Timer, which would remind you of the right amount of time need to brush in one area of the teeth. The electric toothbrush goes after two minutes (intelligent timer) pausing after every 30 seconds to remind you to switch side.
The Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 got IPX7 water-proof design along with anti-slip bump strap design on the back. It weighs around 46g and got a low noise of 60dB. It packs a Li-ion battery that can last up to 30 days when you’re brushing for two times a day (2 minutes each). The best part it comes with fast charging support to quickly charge it up.
Note that, Xiaomi has not yet announced the pricing and availability of individual brush-heads. As the company itself recommends to replace the brush heads every 3-4 months.
