After a small break, Xiaomi is back with a new addition to its Mi TV series. This time around the company has brought one of its premium TV to India. The company has officially launched 55-inch Mi QLED TV 4K (Mi Q1 – QLED TV 4K 55) in India.
It’s also the first QLED TV from Xiaomi and it’s most premium television in India. When we say premium, the 55-inch Mi QLED TV 4K is priced at Rs 54,999 in India. The smart TV will go on sale in India on 21st December exclusively via Flipkart, Mi online stores, Mi Home Stores and other Mi partner retail stores across India.

As the name suggests, the Mi QLED TV 4K boasts an ultra HD 4K QLED screen with a resolution of 3840 by 2160. The display is equipped with Quantum Dot nanocrystals that emit true colours and enhance image vibrancy. It comes equipped with Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ which boosts colour saturation and black detailing, HDR 10 for enhanced brightness, contrast, colour and details, and finally Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) which extends colour gamut with high-dynamic range.
The Mi QLED TV 4K comes with MEMC chip which offers blur-free rendering of high-speed action videos like in sports, games etc. It also comes with next-gen Vivid Picture Engine which offers exceptional colours, significant depth, and deeper contrasts.

6 Speaker System & Internals
Coming to audio, the Mi QLED TV 4K 55 comes equipped with a six-speaker system with a 30W power output and comes in 0.5L boxes. This setup includes four mid-range speakers and two tweeters with a frequency range of 50-20KHz. The speaker system got further enhanced by Dolby Audio.
The Mi QLED TV 4K 55 is impressive on specification list, with a MediaTek 64-bit Quad-core A55 processor paired with Mali G52 MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. It also has 32GB of internal storage enough to install tons of apps and games. The smart TV is powered by Android TV OS, with PatchWall UI over the top. It also comes with Chromecast built-in along with Google Assistant support.
Coming to ports, the Mi QLED TV 4K 55 got three HDMI ports all being HDMI 2.1 that support supported by eARC for higher bandwidth audio, Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and 5ms Input Lag for 60Hz refresh rate at up to 4K resolution. It also comes with two USB ports, one each – Ethernet port, AV port, Optical port and 3.5mm audio port. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2 MIMO) with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band, Bluetooth 5.0 and Mi Quick Wake support.
Last but not least, all the above Mi QLED TV 4K 55 internals are packed inside a slim premium metal bezels less design. It got a glossy metallic frame on the sides that are diamond-cut and have laser-cut engraving.
