The wait for HD quality voice calls and faster call set up is almost over. One of India’s leading telecom operator Vodafone India has confirmed the roll-out of its 4G Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services beginning January 2018.
The telco in its first phase will roll-out the VoLTE service in Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Kolkata telecom circles. It will then further extend the VoLTE service across the country in the coming months.
With the much awaited 4G VoLTE roll-out, Vodafone SuperNet 4G customers can enjoy HD quality and crystal clear voice over their phone calls. In addition, you will also experience super-fast call set up time.
The telco will be offering its 4G VoLTE service at free of cost or at no additional charges. You only need a Vodafone 4G SIM and Vodafone VoLTE support handset. Most of the modern smartphones from brands like Apple, Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, LG and other will support Vodafone’s VoLTE service.

Vodafone VoLTE is an important step towards introducing futuristic technology enhancing our Data Strong Network,” said Sunil Sood, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone India.
VoLTE roll out by Vodafone India
- Vodafone India will roll out its 4G VoLTE service beginning January 2018.
- In the first phase, the Vodafone VoLTE service will be available to customers in five telecom circles. This includes Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Kolkata telecom circles.
- You can avail Vodafone VoLTE service at no additional charges.
- You only need a handset supporting Vodafone VoLTE and a 4G SIM.
For seamless VoLTE experience, the telco has built a robust and resilient Data Strong Network of around 140,000 sites. This network sites will enable better call quality and mobile internet experience to its customers.
