Competition is tough, when one reduces the price for a service others are forced to follow it by cutting their price. This time Vodafone India launched special tariff vouchers (STVs) for its pan-India prepaid customers to enjoy free incoming calls while on national roaming at Rs 5 per day or Rs 77 with 30 days validity.
With Rs 5 STV plan customers can have free incoming voice calls and all outgoing Local / STD calls at 1.5pasia per sec while on national roaming with a validity of one day. If you staying longer on roaming then choose the Rs 77 STV plan, where customers can have free incoming voice calls and all outgoing Local / STD calls at 1.5 pasia per sec while on national roaming with a validity of 30 day. To activate the plan prepaid customers need to SMS ROAM to 144 or dial the USSD code *444*500#.
In addition Vodafone introduced two new roaming plans for prepaid and postpaid customers namely Roaming Tariff Plan (RTP) and Roaming Tariff Plan Free (RTP FR) with Rs 149 plan offering reduced roaming call rates and with Rs 299 plan offering unlimited free incoming calls on roaming for one month.
