Thought Vivo V7+ smartphone, which was launched a few months ago was little larger to hold in your hands? The Chinese mobile vendor Vivo has unveiled a toned down version of the Vivo V7+ in India, the Vivo V7.
Don’t get the assumption that the toned down version of the mobile will be low on specs. The Vivo V7 has everything from its big brother Vivo V7+, packed in a smaller 5.7-inch 18:9 FullView display. You get the same 24-megapixel selfie camera, Snapdragon SoC, expandable storage option and 4G VoLTE support.
Making the phone a bit affordable, the Vivo V7 will retail for a price tag of Rs 18,990. The mobile will be available exclusively via Flipkart and the first sale will happen on 25th November 2017. You will also get some exclusive launch day offers on the mobile from Flipkart. This includes cashback on all HDFC Credit and Debit cards, free BookMyShow movie voucher, exchange offers, one-time free screen replacement and no cost EMI option.
Vivo V7 Specs and Features
Boasting a premium look, the Vivo V7 keeps the metal unibody curved design with a trendy U type lining on the back. However, the main highlight of the mobile is its 5.7-inch HD+ IPS FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen is further protected from scratches with a cover of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood, the Vivo V7 is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The mobile runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with Funtouch 3.2 skin over the top. For storage, you get 32GB of internal storage, which you can further upgrade to 256GB using microSD card.
The main USP of Vivo V7 is its 24-megapixel moonlight selfie front camera. The updated Face Beauty 7.0 offers natural face enhancement to both selfies and while video calling. The Portrait Mode offers a sharper contrast and a blurred background when taking selfies. On the back, the mobile sports a 16-megapixel camera featuring f/2.0 aperture, PDAF technology and LED flash support. The company also has optimised their algorithms to shoot clearer, brighter and more detailed photos.
Coming to connectivity, Vivo V7 support 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. The mobile also supports 4G VoLTE allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth. The device also includes a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the device. Finally, fueling the device is a 3000mAH non-removable lithium-ion battery.
