Uninor, today announced the launch of 9 Uninor Franchise Express outlets – across small towns and district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh. These branded stores will serve as a one stop service point for existing and prospective Uninor customers across towns with population of 50,000 to 1.5 lakhs. The launch is a reinforcement of Uninor’s commitment to extend its reach and services to both urban and rural regions in Andhra Pradesh.
The 9 stores have been launched in Kamareddy, Armor, Kazipet, Guntakal, Yemiganur, Hindupur, Sircilla, Sidhipet and Jagtiyal districts of the state. The outlets have been designed using an interesting retail format which aims to provide an all round brand experience about Uninor’s offers and services for its customers. Customers can walk into these stores and avail anything from a Sim Card, Recharge coupon, Handsets/Accessories to Sim replacements, Caller tune activations and much more – making these stores a one stop telecom solution store for customers residing in small and midsized towns of AP.
Uninor, which launched its services in Andhra Pradesh a little over a year ago has established its presence across 23 districts, 500 towns and over 1500 villages in the state. Servicing the vast geography through 8 Company owned outlets, 32 Franchisee owned outlets, 9 Franchisee express outlets and with presence in over 360 Modern Trade outlets – Uninor has plans of expanding Uninor Franchise Express outlets across many smaller towns in the next few months.
Unitech Wireless holds a pan-India UAS license to offer mobile telephony services in each of India’s 22 circles. It has also received spectrum to roll out these services in 21 of the 22 circles. At present, Uninor services are available in 13 circles – UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Orissa, Kolkata, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
