Now don’t get stuck in a traffic jam, find an alternative route or find the traffic condition of the route you are heading to. Google Map for India has been updated to bring the new traffic alerts feature, to help you avoid those crowdy traffic jams.
Google Maps for India will now show traffic alerts once you’re in navigation mode on your Android or iOS device. Once you input the destination you want to go, you’ll get a voice alert of the upcoming traffic condition. While driving, Google map will let you know the traffic condition ahead and the time you’ll be stuck in a traffic jam.
Google Maps will also suggest alternative routes or help you to find the quickest route to your destination avoiding the traffic.
The traffic alerts features will be enabled automatically on Google Maps for Android or iOS.
