After being quiet for a few months, 10.or (pronounced as Tenor) is back with a new budget-range android smartphone – the 10.or D. It’s the third smartphone from the mobile vendor after 10.or E and 10.or G. Feature-wise, the mobile packs much better specification than its Indian counterparts.

Amazon India is taking the Flipkart Billion route and partnering with Huaqin Technology to manufacture this device under it’s ‘Crafted for Amazon‘ program.

The 10.or D comes in two memory variants, with one being carrying 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage priced at Rs 4,999. The higher memory variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage will retail at Rs 5,999. Both these variants will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting 5th January 2017. For Amazon Prime members the company is offering additional one year warranty on the phone.

Design and Performance

10.or D seems to be a water-down version of its 10.or E smartphone. The mobile has a polycarbonate body with rounder curves offering a comfortable grip. For colour options, you get to choose from Beyond Black and Aim Gold. The mobile flaunts a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. For smooth, fluid visuals it carries Qualcomm Adreno 308 GPU.

For storage 10.or D comes in either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage options. You can, however, expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card. The phone runs on stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS which is upgradable to Android Oreo.

Camera and Connectivity

The 10.or D features a 13-megapixel camera at back with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support. On the front for selfie addicts, the mobile sports a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and beautify feature.

For connectivity, the 10.or D supports 4G LTE networks that work with every Indian telcos 4G band. In addition, you also get VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 801.12 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. For audiophiles, the 10.or D packs a single speaker with Dirac sound algorithm.

Making the budget phone more attractive is the presence of fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. It’s fast, as you can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The 10.or D is fuelled by a 3550 mAh Li-Ion high-density battery. This battery can deliver up to 25 hours of talk time and up to 10 hours on the Internet.
