A new mobile brand called 10.or (pronounced as Tenor) has officially started its operation in India. The first android smartphone from the brand to launch in India is the 10.or E (Tenor E). A budget range mobile that’s feature-packed with full HD display, Snapdragon SoC, bigger battery, good camera, stock Android and 4G with VoLTE support.
As it’s a budget range smartphone, 10.or E is priced at Rs 7,999. There are actually two variants of the smartphone, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which gets the budget price tag. Whereas, the higher variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage may cost around Rs 8,999. Both variants of the mobile will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The company has yet to announce the data for the first sale.
10.or E Specification and Features
10.or E is beautifully designed smartphone built with polycarbonate material. For colour choices, you get to choose from Aim Gold and Beyond Black. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS 1920 x 1080 display with 2.5D curved glass over the top. The screen is protected from scratches with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, the 10.or E is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. For storage, the mobile packs either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using a microSD card which gets its own dedicated memory card slot. The mobile runs on stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo.
Coming to photography, the 10.or E sports a 13-megapixel rear camera. It features an aperture of f/2.0, phase detection auto focus (PDAF) and single tone LED flash support. You can use the camera to shoot full 4K videos. For selfie addicts, the mobile comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also supports flash and has additional features like selfie countdown and face recognition.
For connectivity, the 10.or E supports 4G LTE networks that work with every Indian telcos 4G band. In addition, the mobile also comes with VoLTE support allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2+. For extra security, the mobile comes with a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the device. The device is fuelled by a 4000 mAH Li-Ion high-density battery.
