We all stuck up in situations when our mobile balance gets too low in the middle of the night, in an unknown place with no way to get a recharge and you are in an emergency to call your friends or family.

The Indian telecom operator Telenor has introduced Tatkal Credit Service – an emergency recharge loan facility for its mobile subscribers in six telecom circles.

Under the Tatkal Credit Service, customers whose mobile balance falls below Rs 1.50 can avail instant talk time, voice minutes or data loan. One opting for the emergency loan facility can choose from Rs 5 talk time credit or 10 minutes of local and STD voice minutes or 20 MB of data benefits which will come with a validity of three days.

The loan amount of Rs 5 along with an access fee of Rs 1 will be adjusted against the next top-up by the customers.

To avail the Tatkal Credit Service, customers need to dial USSD code *141# or call 121 from there Telenor mobile connection. It should be noted that there should be no outstanding loan on your number or the last Tatkal Credit Service should be cleared before availing the service.
