The next battle in the Indian telecom sector has started, and it’s been happening in the broadband sector. After Jio Fiber poised the broadband sector with its unlimited plans and bundled perks, other ISPs started following it. The latest entrant in the battleground is Tata Sky Broadband, with limited presence in selected Indian cities (but expanding rapidly to other parts) has now revamped its broadband plans.
The ISP has revised its unlimited broadband plans by adding new low-cost broadband plans, new 200 Mbps broadband plans and also reducing the monthly rate of some of its existing broadband plans. The operator has majorly withdrawn its Fixed GB broadband plans (now available only in one city – Kalyan-Dombivli) and replaced completely with Unlimited Plans. Recently, Tata Sky Broadband also introduced landline services bundled with its broadband plans.
Tata Sky Broadband revamped Unlimited Plan – Tariff
Tata Sky Broadband Unlimited Plan starts at Rs 850 per month which provides unlimited data at a speed of 100 Mbps. Whereas, the Rs 950 per month broadband plan, provides unlimited data usage at a speed of up to 150 mbps.
Next is the newly introduced Rs 1050 per month Unlimited Plan which offers unlimited data usage at a speed of 200 Mbps. Finally, we have revamped Rs 1500 broadband plan which provides a speed of up to 300 Mbs and comes with unlimited data usage.
There is also one cheaper Unlimited broadband which is not available monthly but as a 3-months quarterly basis. This broadband plan is priced at Rs 1797 for three months and provides a speed of 50 Mbps with unlimited data.

In all these Unlimited Data plans, there is a fair usage policy or FUP on data consumption. The speed of your broadband plan will reduce to 3 Mbps after you consume 3300 GB of data in a month.
Besides, if you are choosing a monthly subscription, then you would require to pay Rs 500 as installation charges and Rs 1000 as a refundable security deposit. However, if you choose any of the above Unlimited Plan on a quarterly (3 months), semi-annual (6 months) and annual (1 year) rental then Tata Sky Broadband will wave the installation charges and refundable deposit.
Also, note that 150 Mbps and above Unlimited Plans are available in select areas and is subject to technical feasibility. Currently, these Unlimited Plans are available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kalya-Dombivli, Karnataka, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mira Bhayandar, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi, Noida, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune and Thane.
