Sony has launched yet another high-end Android smartphone in India under its Xperia family, the premium HD smartphone ‘Sony Xperia Ion‘. It features a gorgeous 4.6 inch big screen that brings in HD experience to the smartphone. The handset is priced at Rs 35,999 and available among the online retailers like Flipkart, Snapdeal etc.
Sony Xperia Ion features a stunning 4.6inch HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and comes with a 12 megapixel camera on the rear for super clarity photography. Its powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Dual Core processor with 1GB RAM and runs on Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. The device also got a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chatting at 720p resolution. Xperia Ion is also equipped with NFC chip and PlayStation certified.
