Sony want to change their fortune building Android devices and marching to their goal, unveiled its new flagship Android smartphone – Sony Xperia Z at CES 2013. The premium smartphone is equipped with a gorgeous 5 inch full HD 1080p reality display with the power of Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 13 megapixel fast-capture camera, latest Android Jellybean OS and 4G LTE connectivity.
This year we will see most of the smartphone makers bumping their mobile display to full HD, following the trend Sony Xperia Z got a razor sharp and super bright full HD screen. The 5 inch full HD 1080p reality display that totals to 441PPi powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 delivers an immersive viewing experience with super brightness and clarity. Another notable feature is 13 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor. It equips with world’s first image sensor with HDR (High Dynamic Range) video for smartphones. HDR is an imaging technology used to capture clear photos against strong backlight. With HDR, the camera captures the same image at different exposure levels and layers them to create one optimised photo.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM. It comes with Adreno 320 GPU which enable to play the most advanced and visually stunning 3D games, and browse the web quickly and smoothly. For connectivity Xperia Z has built-in LTE/4G modem providing speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G internet connections. It runs on Google Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS out of box and upgradable to latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The whole device is powered by 2,330-mAh battery that comes with a Battery STAMINA mode for better battery performance.
