Snapdeal has partnered with various NGOs and social service organizations across India to start the Snapdeal Sunshine program where you have the opportunity to donate a product to any associated NGOs, who are in need of those products.
Through the Sunshine program, the NGOs can request products they need such as books, bags, pencils etc, for their on-going projects and you can donate those items in any quantity to the organization. Once ordered Snapdeal will securely deliver those products to NGOs or volunteer groups.
How Snapdeal Sunshine Works?
The whole process of donation is made simple with Snapdeal Sunshine program. All you have to do is select a cause along with an NGO you wish to donate for. Like you can select the organization CABI to support the Indian Blind Cricket Team to participate and win 2016 Blind World Cup.
Once made up the mind, click on the ‘Donate’ button and you will see some products listed that’s requested by those NGOs. Choose the product and quantity you wish to donate. Make the payment and once you buy the product, it will be directly handed over to the chosen organisation by Snapdeal.
The products that NGOs need range from pencils, school bags, and books, some may request tablets, printers, and full cricket kit. So one can donate what they can under their budget.
Currently, Snapdeal has partnered with several organizations including Magic Bus, Goonj, Teach For India and HelpAge India for the Sunshine initiative.
