If you are a hardcore fan of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar then it’s time to own a special phone launched in his name. Indian mobile vendor Smartron has come up with an android smartphone named srtphone branded under Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar. On a quick glance, the mobile features Snapdragon processor with 4GB of RAM, unlimited cloud storage, Android Nougat and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

Going first by the pricing, Smartron srtphone comes in two storage variants. One with 32GB internal storage got a price tag of Rs 12,999, whereas the 64GB internal storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 13,999. The mobile will be available exclusively through Flipkart starting 3rd May 2017. Flipkart is packing lots of offers on the launch day, including a free back cover, one-year t.care warranty and an additional Rs 1,500 discount on the exchange of your older phone.

Design and Performance

Smartron srtphone got a metallic finish but comes with a plastic structure. Still, the device is robust and have the best drop test result in the category. For colour choice, you get only the ‘Titanium Grey’ colour option with Sachin Tendulkar Signature back cover. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS 1920×1080 display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass3.

Under the hood, the srtphone is powered by a 1.8Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. To store all your photos, videos and other media content, the mobile comes with 64GB of internal storage. If you still need more storage, then Smartron is offering unlimited storage in its tCloud cloud storage service.

Photography and Connectivity

Coming to photography the Smartron srtphone comes with a 13-megapixel autofocus back camera. It features F2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash support. In front, for selfie lovers, we got a 5-megapixel camera with wide-angle lens.

For connectivity, the Smartron srtphone supports 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. In addition, the mobile also supports VoLTE, which allows you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi dual band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1 and NFC. The phone runs on the latest Android Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top.

For extra security, the Smartron srtphone comes with a fingerprint scanner placed on the back. The srtphone carries a 3000mAh Li-ion Polymer battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 through USB Type-C port. Additional features include dual Mic for noise cancellation, inbuilt FM receiver and support for Qualcomm Fluence V5 Pro for an immersive audio experience.
