It’s very near, just some more hours to go, Samsung will launch the much-anticipated flagship Android smartphone Galaxy SIV during the UNPACKED event at Times Square, New York on March 14 at 19:00 EDT. Don’t want to miss out the event.
What to expect from Samsung Galaxy S IV ?
A valid question, as it’s one of the most anticipated smartphone launch after the iPhone. With lots of leaks flying around we probably get an idea of what Samsung has built for us with Galaxy S IV.
- Full 1080p HD display – taking the path of other manufacturers flagship smartphones launches during 2013, Samsung Galaxy S IV will probably get a 1080p AMOLED display with a PPI of 440 and excepted to have a 4.99 inch screen.
- Exynos Octa or Quad Core – Galaxy S IV will probably powered by Exynos Octa 5 CPU built on ARM big.LITTLE architecture combining four high performance ARM Cortex A15 cores with four ARM Cortex A7 cores. There has also been report of Samsung adopting fine tuned Quad Core CPU for its flagship smartphone and opt for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 CPU.
- Design – Probably Samsung will be using plastic bodies with chromium touches on side for Galaxy SIV.
- Android Extra Features – Galaxy SIV will run on Android 4.2 Jelly bean OS with latest TouchWiz UI on top. Other extra unique featured excepted include Eye Scrolling, Eye Tracking, SmartPause, Floating Touch and more.
