That’s the new Samsung Galaxy On Max android smartphone launched in India by Samsung in its Galaxy On-series. Other smartphones in that range include the recently launched Samsung 2017 edition Galaxy On Nxt, Galaxy On8, Galaxy On7 Pro and Galaxy On5 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy On Max comes with a price tag of Rs 16,900 and will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting 10th July 2017 at 23:59 hours. As a launch day offer, you can get flat Rs 2000 discount when making the payment via Standard Chartered Bank credit or debit cards.

Samsung Galaxy On Max Spec and Features

Offering a premium look and feel all around, the Samsung Galaxy On Max got a metal unibody design. The mobile flaunts a 5.7-inch full HD display covered with 2.5D curved glass on top. The device gets powered by a 2.39Ghz, 1.69Ghz octa-core MediaTek’s Helio P25 Lite processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. This combination offers smooth and flawless multitasking and high-end gaming. To store all your media content the mobile carries 32GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB using microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy On Max launched in India with 13MP Front and Back camera, 4G VoLTE

Coming to photography department, Samsung Galaxy On Max comes with the 13-megapixel camera on both front and back. On the rear, the camera features f/1.7 aperture and LED flash support allowing you to capture those stunning low-light photos. On the front, the camera has a f/1.9 aperture along with LED flash support. It also offers instant photo edits, apply live stickers and filters, and share instantly to any social network.

The dual-SIM, dual-standby Samsung Galaxy On Max supports high-speed 4G LTE that works with every Indian 4G bands. You also get VoLTE support allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Samsung’s custom skin over the top. Another useful feature that packs is the support for dual apps. This allows you to run two different accounts for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and other apps on the same device.

Another highlighted feature of Samsung Galaxy On Max is the Samsung Pay mini that comes bundled with it. Samsung Pay mini is a stripped down version of it’s own payment solution Samsung Pay. Here instead of the usual NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) payment technology, the Samsung Pay mini uses mobile wallets. It essentially integrates Paytm Wallet and UPI payment solution.
