Stuffed with features Galaxy Grand targets users looking for big screen size like Note at an affordable price point.
Samsung GALAXY Grand features a 5.0inch WVGA display which provides an expansive viewing experience, presenting messaging, multimedia and Web content in brilliant color and clarity. The large display real estate helps in multitasking with Multi Window feature. Its powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor with 1GB RAM supports hardcore app usage. GALAXY Grand comes with 8 Megapixel rear camera that supports zero shutter-lag and ultra-quick camera start-up. It also sports a 2 MP front faces with 720p video calling capability. It runs on latest Android Jelly Bean OS with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top.
Phablet style smartphone comes with latest TouchWiz UI from Samsung packed with premium suite apps including Multi Window (multitasking running multiple apps simultaneously and without switching screens), Direct Call (enables users to automatically dial a call by raising the device up to the ear), Smart Alert (shows missed events such as missed calls and new messages just by picking up the phone), Popup Video, S Voice and All Share Play.
Samsung GALAXY Grand will be launched in two versions The Dual SIM version called GALAXY Grand Duos (GT-I9082) and single SIM version (GT-I9080). The innovative dual SIM feature provides total communication flexibility, allowing users to manage two phone numbers from a single phone. The GALAXY Grand will be made available to Asian markets including India in early 2013 and pricing still not announced.
