If you are too much selfie obsessed then you need a mobile that can always capture your pretty face in its full glory. Within a few months of launching the Galaxy C9 Pro, Samsung has launched yet another smartphone under its C-series in India – the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro. The mobile features back and front 16-megapixel camera, sleek metal builds, Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 4G LTE along with VoLTE support.

First, to the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will come with a price tag at Rs 27,990. The mobile will available exclusively via Amazon India starting 11th April 2017. You can choose from two colour options – gold and navy blue colour. At this price point, Samsung competes directly with OnePlus 3T and OPPO F3 Plus, with both having similar hardware and specifications.

Design and Performance

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro got a premium full metal unibody build with solid curves. It’s ultra-slim with just 7.0 mm thickness, yet offers a firm grip for the hand. The mobile flaunts a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 display with the front part covered in 2.5D Glass.

Under the hood, the Galaxy C7 Pro is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. This combination offers seamless multitasking and smooth gaming performance. To store all your selfies and other media contents the mobile comes with 64 GB of internal storage. The mobile carries a Hybrid SIM slot, that allows you to further extend the storage up to 256GB using microSD card. Else you can use the slot for the second sim.

Photography and Connectivity

The main attraction of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is the 16-megapixel back and front camera. The back 16-megapixel camera sport a f/1.9 aperture, PDAF and LED flash support. On the front, you get the same camera module featuring auto-flash and Beautifying Effect camera mode. It’s actually the same camera spec from its bigger brother Galaxy C9 Pro.

As for connectivity, the Galaxy C7 Pro supports 4G LTE networks that work with every Indian 4G bands. In addition, it also comes with VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4+5GHz, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C. The mobile runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Samsung’s own TouchWiz skin over the top. To fuel the whole device, a 3300mAh battery is packed on the back.

For extras, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro comes with full support for its mobile payment solution Samsung Pay. Other than that, the mobile pack’s dual speakers which can offer stunning stereo sounds. For extra security, there is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the front home button.
