According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), MySpeed Portal data for the month of April 2017, Jio has highest average download speed in 4G at 19.12 Mbps. That’s also an improvement from last months 18.487 Mbps average download speed.
Comparing that to other telco’s 4G network speed, in the second position we have Idea Cellular with an average 4G downlaod speed of 13.709 Mbps. On the third position, we have Vodafone India with 13.387 Mbps 4G download speed. Finally, India’s top telecom operator Airtel stands at fourth position with 10.153 Mbps average 4G download speed.

- Reliance Jio got the highest average download speed with 19.12 Mbps.
- On the second spot, we have Idea Cellular with average download speed of 13.709 Mbps. Vodafone India stands third with average download speed of 13.387 Mbps. These telecom operators, almost doubled their performance compared to previous month.
- Whereas Airtel dropped to the fourth spot with 10.153 Mbps in average 4G download speed.
- When checking upload speed, Idea Cellular topped the chart with an average upload speed of 8.459 Mbps. Followed by Vodafone India with 4G upload speed of 7.333 Mbps.
