The most budget-friendly variant in the Redmi 4 series is here. The Chinese mobile vendor Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4A in India. On a quick glance the mobile features HD display, Snapdragon processor, 13MP camera and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.
Going first through the pricing, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with price tag of Rs 5,999. The mobile will be available exclusively through Amazon India and Mi India official website. The sale of the mobile starts 23rd March 2017, at 12 PM. Also, you got three colour variants to choose from – dark grey, gold and rose gold.
Design and Power
Digging through the budget-friendly smartphone, the Redmi 4A got a premium metal-like polycarbonate matte texture wrapped around the body. The mobile weighs just 131.5gram. The mobile flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS 1280 x 720 display with a pixel density of 296PPI. The screen supports eye protection mode and colour temperature adjustment offering better protection to the eye and prevents eye strain.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. For storing all your media content the mobile packs 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card.
Photography and Connectivity
How budget friendly the smartphone be, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A carries a superior quality camera. On the back, the mobile comes with a 13-megapixel camera featuring f/2.2 aperture, 5-piece lens, and monochrome warm flash. For selfie addicts, the mobile got a 5-megapixel front camera. It features the same f/2.2 aperture and comes with facial recognition function.
Connectivity wise Redmi 4A comes with hybrid SIM slot, so either you can have dual SIM or a single SIM along with a microSD card.
