India’s third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular is going aggressive with its self-care mobile app promotion. Idea customers who are downloading the ‘My Idea App’ and doing a recharge of Rs 1 through it, can get up to 1GB of free 4G, 3G or 2G data usage (depending upon your telecom circle).
The app promotion offer is valid for pan-India Idea prepaid customers who are downloading the My Idea App on their Android, iOS, Windows phone or BlackBerry devices and doing a recharge of Rs 1 using the coupon code shared via the app.
The 1GB data promotion is purely based on luck, as customers doing the Rs 1 recharge on the app can get free data usage in the range of 100 MB up to 1GB. (luckily on my try, got 1GB data usage and on full 4G network.)
Idea’s self-care app – My Idea App offers a range of services like instant recharge and bill payment, personalised offers, activating and deactivating VAS services, and knowing complete transaction history.
The offer is valid once per Idea prepaid customers, so do try your luck.
Earlier Airtel also starting app promotion by offering its customers free 1.2GB of 4G, 3G or 2G data to its customers for installing its My airtel app, Wynk Music app, Wynk Movies app and Wynk Games app.
