In an effort to bring high-speed 3G network to more users, Reliance Communications has announced inter-circle roaming partnerships with Tata Docomo and Aircel to provide pan India 3G roaming services to each other customers using their network across country.
Reliance Communications (RCom) and Aircel, both have 3G spectrum license in 13 out of the 22 telecom circles in India while Tata Teleservices (Tata Docomo) hold 3G license in 9 of the telecom circles.
With this partnership RCom will be sharing its 13 3G telecom circles including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, North East and Jammu & Kashmir with Aircel and Tata Docomo. Whereas RCom will get access to 5 telecom circles from Aircel which include Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and UP East, and 4 telecom circles from Tata Docomo which include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana and UP west.
For Aircel and Tata Docomo, this partnership offers access to the most expensive telecom service areas of Delhi and Mumbai where RCom has 3G license.

With this partnership, all existing and new 3G customers of Reliance Communications will able to access high-speed pan-India 3G services while roaming outside operator’s 3G circles.
