The Anil Ambani-led Indian telecom operator Reliance Communications (RCom) has introduced Reliance 4G LTE app-to-app voice calling service to make calls anywhere in the worldwide. The ‘Call Drops Se Chhutkara’ offer or ‘freedom from call drops’ offer provides customers with HD quality app-to-app voice calls. It utilizes Reliance’s high-speed 4G LTE data network backed by its superior 850-MHz spectrum band.

Under this offer, Reliance 4G customers in Delhi-NCR telecom circle will get 300 minutes of app-to-app voice calling using any data-based apps with a validity of 30 days at an introductory price of Rs 1.

RCom offers 300 minutes app-to-app 4G data calls at Rs 1

So if you are availing the offer, you will get a daily data credit of 7 MB. This 4G data credit can be then utilized to make HD app-to-app voice calls on any data-based apps like WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, Google, Hangout etc. The company estimates that the 7MB of data is more than enough to make HD voice calls for 10 minutes each day.

Do note that if you use up the 7 MB of data for other internet purposes, then the app-to-app calling minutes will reduce proportionately. Also if you under-use the daily data quota, then it will stand forfeited.

The 4G app-to-app service has been already rolled out in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh telecom circle. RCom soon plans to bring the service to its pan-India customer base.
