Reliance TalkLoan service will offer customers with a instant loan of Rs 5 or Rs 10, that can be used for both voice and data usage. Customers can avail the service when their balance dips below Rs 10 and by simply dialing *141# (toll-free). Customers can choose the loan denomination and they are immediately credited with the talk-time balance.
The talktime gained through the TalkLoan loan has no validity and customers can use it anytime they want. The credited loan amount will be recovered with a nominal transaction fee during the customers’ next recharge.
This loan service is not new in Indian telecom sector as India’s top two telecom operator Bharti Airtel and Vodafone India already have similar loan facility for their customers.
