Google India has introduced a new feature on its search engine that allows you to order food from your neighbouring restaurants via Zomato and Swiggy. And, if you are going out to a restaurant, you won’t now need to wait for a table, you can book a table right from Google Search via Dineout and Bytplus.
With the latest update on Google Search, you can search for a nearby restaurant on your phone, you will see an option in the search results called ‘place an order‘ beside the restaurant name. Just tap on it and select a delivery service like Swiggy or Zomato, and you will be redirected to their website to complete the order.
Similarly, if you are looking to go out for dinner and don’t want to wait for a table, you can book a table in advance. Just tap on the ‘Find a table‘ link and you’ll be taken to the respective sites to make your reservation. Currently, table booking service is provided by Dineout and Bytplus.
The new update is available via Google search on your mobile browser and on Google app on your Android or iOS phone or tablet.
