An affordable dual selfie camera smartphone, that’s the new OPPO F3 android smartphone from the Chinese mobile vendor OPPO. On the quick glance, the mobile features dual selfie camera, 4GB of RAM, FHD display and 4G LTE with VoLTE support. The mobile is actually a stripped down version of the recently launched OPPO F3 Plus.
Going first by the pricing, the OPPO F3 gets a price tag of Rs 19,990. The mobile will be available exclusively through Flipkart. Dual Selfie camera
Same as OPPO F3 Plus, the OPPO F3 comes with dual front-facing selfie camera. One 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and extra-large pixels. Whereas the second 8-megapixel sensor allows you to capture 120-degree wide-angle selfies. It uses a 6P lens module which adjusts the path of light to minimise image distortion and maximise clarity. The Beautify 4.0 mode helps you to capture more beautiful selfies by reducing blemish.
On the back, OPPO F3 gets a 13-megapixel autofocus camera. It features 1/3 inch sensor and dual phase detection autofocus (PDAF) support. This combination offers clear and brighter shots at night, more depth in pictures that are clear and detailed. The camera app on the mobile offers an expert mode where you can manually adjust parameters like focus, white balance, ISO, and more.
Design and Performance
The OPPO F3 maintains the same design language of its big brother and spots polycarbonate construction with a metallic finish. The texture on its back panel repels dust and offer better grip on hand. The mobile flaunts a big 5.5-inch full HD 1080x1920p In-cell display with a pixel density of 401 PPI and covered under 2.5D curved glass. Just below the screen, you have the home button which also embeds the fingerprint sensor. This fingerprint sensor is equipped with a hydrophobic membrane that even allow you to unlock the mobile when fingers are moist.
Under the hood, the OPPO F3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core 64-bit processor, which is coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali T86 MP2 GPU. To store all your selfies and other media content the mobile packs 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity
As for connectivity, the OPPO F3 supports high-speed 4G LTE networks that work with every telco’s 4G bands in India. In addition, it also supports VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. The mobile got a triple-slot tray for SIM and storage. This allows you to have two nano 4G SIMs and a microSD card.
The OPPO F3 runs on a bit old Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 skin over the top. To fuel the whole device a 3200 mAh battery is included.
