Ending all the sky-high rumors, OnePlus has officially launched its third android smartphone – OnePlus X in India. Packing the specification of a mid-range affordable smartphone, OnePlus X features Snapdragon processor, 3GB RAM, full HD display, 13-megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity support and runs on Android Lollipop.
There are two variants of the smartphone – OnePlus X Onyx (glass) which is the normal variant priced at Rs 16,999 and a limited edition OnePlus X Ceramic priced at Rs 22,999, with only 10,000 units manufactured. Both smartphones will be exclusively available via Amazon India – OnePlus X Onyx from November 5th, 2015 onwards and the limited edition OnePlus X Ceramic on November 24th, 2015. As always you need an invite to buy them.
Coming to the hardware part, OnePlus X (OPX) flaunts a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection on top. It packs a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, that would easily take on any task given to it. On the storage side, the OnePlus X comes with 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD cards. On the photography side, the OPX comes with a 13-megapixel f/2.2 ISOCELL back camera that comes with Phase Detection Auto Focus and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for all your selfies. On the connectivity side, the smartphone fully supports Indian 4G networks along with 3G and 2G networks and got Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and NFC options.
OnePlus X comes with a hybrid dual-SIM card slots where the second card slot can either be used as SIM slot or memory card slot. On the software side, the OnePlus X runs on Oxygen OS which is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

OnePlus has also launched some accessories for OnePlus X including the five cases – Rosewood, Black Apricot, Bamboo, Karbon and Sandstone, and the OnePlus Icons headphone.
