OnePlus expanded its Nord android smartphone series with an ’N’ series. Thus, the company has launched two new smartphones under the Nord N series – OnePlus Nord N10 5G and OnePlus Nord N100. A bit confusing the naming, yet they are in the affordable price range with feature-packed hardware specifications. To bump up the look and feel, both smartphones take clues of design from the recently announced OnePlus 8T.

Both phones are initially launching in specific European countries with price starting at £329 or around Rs 31,700 for OnePlus Nord N10 5G. While the OnePlus Nord N100 has a price tag of £179 or around Rs 17,300.

There is no official confirmation from OnePlus about Indian launch of OnePlus Nord N10 5G and OnePlus Nord N100. However, considering the affordable price tag of both these phones, we may see these phones land on the Indian market in the coming months.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G

Feature-packed among the two the OnePlus Nord N10 5G flaunts a 6.49-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS2.1 storage. Of course, you can expand the storage up to 512GB using microSD card. The phone runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.5. Looking at the track record of OnePlus, you could expect the newest Android 11 update in the coming months.

Nord N10 5G smartphone specifications and pricing

OnePlus Nord N10 5G boasts a quad rear camera array that houses – a 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with 119-degree of FoV and f/2.25 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and finally a 2-megapixel monochrome lens with f/2.4 aperture. Up in the front behind the hole-punch, we have the 16-megapixel front-facing camera which features f/2.05 aperture and EIS support. The cameras can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, Super-Slow motion videos at 1080p (at 120fps) and time-lapse in full 4K (at 30fps).

As the name tells, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G supports 5G network along with 4G LTE, 3G and 2G networks. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2 MIMO, Support 2.4G/5G), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. There is a fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device. There is also the addition of dual stereo speakers. The phone packs a 4300mAh battery that bundles Warp Charge 30T fast charging.

OnePlus Nord N100

If you are in the market for something even more affordable in the OnePlus shelf, then OnePlus Nord N100 would suite you. The phone flaunts 6.52-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS2.1 storage. You can also expand the storage further using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.5, which will get Android 11 in the coming months.

Coming to the camera, the OnePlus Nord N100 packs a triple camera array that houses – a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and EIS support, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel Bokeh lens with f/2.4 aperture. Up in the front behind the hole-punch, we have the 8-megapixel front-facing camera which features f/2.0 aperture.

As for connectivity, the OnePlus Nord N100 supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G and 2G networks. It comes with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Support 2.4G/5G), Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. It also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone gets a bigger 5000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging (9V/2A) support.
