Finally, the flagship killer brand OnePlus is launching the much talked about fitness band, simply called the OnePlus Band in India. Being the first wearable device from the company, it boats lots of unique features that would raise the heartbeat of a fitness enthusiast in you.

In a nutshell, the OnePlus Band comes with 13 dedicated exercise modes, offers continuous blood oxygen saturation monitoring, gets a bright AMOLED screen, multi-colour band designs, two weeks of battery life on a single charge and IP68 water-resistant.

Before getting into the details, let’s check out the price of OnePlus Band. The fitness smart band is priced at Rs 2499 in India. You could also buy the multi-colour wrist straps for the band at Rs 399 each. OnePlus Band will be available for purchase through Amazon India, Flipkart, OnePlus online store and OnePlus partner outlets across India, starting January 13. The OnePlus Band boasts a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch display with a resolution of 126 by 294 pixels. The main tracker or capsule is removable from the strap, and you could swap in dynamic dual-colour strap combos. Accompanying that you could choose from numerous pre-built watch faces, or you can also create unique ones.

OnePlus Band comes with an array of sensors including, the Blood Oxygen Sensor, which can track your blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) level via red and infrared light sensors. Coupled with this data is the intelligent algorithm monitor that can quickly highlight potential health issues.

Other sensors in OnePlus Band include three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, and an optical heart-rate sensor. It can measure continuous, real-time heart rate monitoring for exercise, rest and sleep. It could also alert you when it read high pulse via the built-in vibration motor. The fitness band can also track your sleep, helping you to understand your sleep quality.

Another highlighted feature of OnePlus Band is the support for 13 dedicated exercise modes. These include Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga, and Free Training. The fitness band is also 5ATM and IP68 rated with water-resistant up to 50 meters for 12 minutes.

Coming to connectivity, the OnePlus Band comes with Bluetooth 5.0. The health data will be constantly in sync with your phone via the OnePlus Health app, which also offers insights and advice on your health. The fitness band will initially support only phones running on at least Android 6.0. Apple iOS or iPhone, support will be launched in a later stage.

The OnePlus Band packs a 100mAh battery that’s according to the company is good for 14 days of usage. Its bundled with a wired charging dongle with USB Type-A in-the-box.
