It’s about time for the next flagship killer from OnePlus to enter the arena. With rumours spreading like wildfire and finally settling down with the official leak directly from Amazon India.
OnePlus has officially launched the next-generation flagship killer – OnePlus 3 in India. The worthy successor to OnePlus 2, the mobile is packed with all latest mobile hardware along with a massive 6GB RAM, classic design with the metal build and some innovative tech with Dash charging.
First thing first, the OnePlus 3 is priced just right for its specification. Priced at Rs 27,999 the OnePlus 3 just cuts down all competition under the 30K price range android smartphones in India. The mobile will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting from 15th June 2016.
Design that grabs all attention, OnePlus 3 got a metal unibody build with space-grade aluminum alloy and comes with soft curves on the sides. The phone is thin with 7.3 mm thickness and weighs around 158 grams.
OnePlus 3 flaunts a 5.5 inch Optic AMOLED full HD display that comes with a pixel density of 401 ppi and protected with Gorilla Glass 4. As with any AMOLED display, the screen offers more vivid and natural viewing experience along with its deep blacks, bright whites, and accurate color reproduction.
The beast OnePlus 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at dual 2.2 GHz and dual 1.6 GHz speeds. The processor is coupled with massive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM that’s more than enough for anything, as you can seamlessly shift from playing high graphic-intensive games to 4K video shooting. Can’t imagine you will ever come across a delay or lag when using this smartphone. For storage, the smartphone carries 64GB internal storage that’s based on UFS 2.0 technology offering faster data transfer.
Coming to the photography side, the OnePlus 3 comes with a 16-megapixel camera on the back that got OnePlus’s Smart Capture technology along with electronic (EIS) and optical (OIS) stabilization for both photos and videos. On the way you can always fine tune the exposure, ISO, focus and more just like in a DSLR and supports RAW image format. On the front, the smartphone got an 8-megapixel camera with Sony IMX179 sensor, aperture of f/2.0 and can support full HD videos.
Connectivity wise OnePlus 3 comes with a dual nano SIM card slot that supports 4G LTE (supporting every Indian 4G bands 3, 5, 40,4 41), 3G, 2G networks along with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. For added security, the smartphone got a fingerprint sensor placed on the home button on the front.
For powering all these OnePlus 3 packs a 3,000 mAh battery that comes with innovative Dash Charge. The charger packed with OnePlus 3 comes with Dash Charger adapter that efficiently dissipates heat and shifts the whole power management system to it. A quick 30 minutes charge will replenish over 60 percent of OnePlus 3 battery.
