In the year 2016, the Chinese mobile vendor Xiaomi crossed a revenue of one billion dollars in India. Then recently the company become the number one selling smartphone brand online. Coming to 2017, Xiaomi has set a new record in India and this time through its best-selling smartphone.
Launched barely two months ago, the Redmi Note 4 has become the fastest device to sell over one million devices in India. That just in 45 days from its first sale on 23rd January 2017. If you do the maths, every four-second one Redmi Note 4 has been sold in India.
Counting from 23rd January 2017, Xiaomi has conducted six flash sales for Redmi Note 4. All this sale happened exclusively through Flipkart and company’s Mi Store. On March 2017, the company launched Matte Black variant of the smartphone.
Redmi Note 4 Spec and Features
The Redmi Note 4 got a premium all-metal unibody design. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass covering it. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. The mobile got a hybrid SIM slot which allows you to either add a Nano-SIM and micro-SIM combination or a micro-SIM and microSD card combination.
For photography, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with a 13-megapixel CMOS camera on the back. For selfie lovers, the mobile carries a 5-megapixel front camera. On connectivity, the mobile comes with 4G LTE along with support for VoLTE. The mobile runs on Android Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8 skin over the top. The company plans to upgrade the OS to Android nougat in the coming month.
There are actually three variants of the Redmi Note 4 for sale. The lowest among the three packing 2GB RAM and 32GB storage come with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage variant have a price tag of Rs 10,999. Finally, the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage got a price tag of Rs 12,999.
