Looking for a budget smartphone that has a big screen, VoLTE support, great selfie camera and extra security with a fingerprint scanner. The Chinese mobile vendor Nubia has launched Nubia N1 Lite android smartphone in India. On a quick glance, you get big 5.5-inch HD display, fingerprint scanner, good quality camera and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.
The Nubia N1 Lite will sell at a price tag of Rs 6,999. That’s beating out the recently launched Coolpad Note 5 Lite in the spec and price point. The mobile will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting today.
Design and Performance
As Nubia N1 Lite is a budget smartphone, it features a polycarbonate body with 2.5D glass in the front and the edge arc on the back. You also get a shiny gold metallic frame running around the surface, giving it a premium touch. There is an extra UV coating that gives a pebble-like fine-sanded feeling when you hold the mobile. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch A-SI HD 1280×720 display with pixel density of 267 PPI.
Under the hood, the Nubia N1 Lite is powered by an MTK 6737 quad-core 4xA53 1.25GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. You also get ARM Mali-T720 image processor at 550MHz as the GPU. To store all your media content the mobile packs 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 32GB using microSD card.
Camera and Connectivity
Now to the main USP of Nubia N1 Lite, the 5-megapixel selfie camera. It features 3-pieces Lens, F2.8 aperture and 84-degree wide angle capture. With front soft-light flash and selfie beauty algorithm you get the perfect selfie even during the night. On the back, mobile comes with an 8-megapixel camera. It features F2.0 large aperture, 4P precision optical lens, PDAF and dual LED flash support.
Coming to connectivity, the Nubia N1 Lite features hybrid card slot. This allows you to either have dual SIM or one SIM with one microSD card combination. The mobile comes with 4G LTE support that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. You also get VoLTE support for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. For extra security, the smartphone also features fingerprint sensor placed at the back.
The Nubia N1 Lite runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS wrapped under Google UI. To fuel the whole device, the mobile packs a non-removable 3000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. The company claims the battery is good enough for 500 hours of standby time and 24 hours of talk time.
