Nokia has partnered with Idea cellular to bring integrated carrier billing solution for Nokia Music Store and Nokia app store in India. Nokia has earlier partnered with Vodafone India, to bring the carrier billing to its music store. Idea cellular’s pan India Prepaid and Postpaid customers using the music service and app store on their Nokia handsets can now renew their service subscriptions directly through their Idea accounts and continue to download songs and albums from the Nokia Music Store.
The subscription pricing is same as that of Vodafone India, customers of Ideal Cellular can renew their Nokia Music Store subscription, which are available in three durations – Weekly, 7 days for Rs 50, Monthly, 30 days for Rs 99 and Quarterly, 90 days for Rs 250. You need to note that taxes and all 2G/3G data charges which you will incur while downloading songs will be levied separately.
Idea Cellular customers can also purchase over 120,000 pieces of content from Nokia Store. This includes applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, web and location-based services among others. Globally, the Nokia Store drives more than 15 million downloads per day and India currently sees over 80 million downloads per month. The charges will be deducted from their prepaid account or charged in postpaid bill directly.

Nokia music store is a unique platform which enables consumers to explore and choose from close to 40 lakhs of legal Indian Movie songs, Devotional songs and regional songs in its catalogue.
