Ditching its polycarbonate plastic body, Nokia unveiled yet another smartphone to its Windows Phone 8 lineup, Lumia 925 with a sleek, metal-finished design, 4.5 inch AMOLED display and award-winning PureView imaging innovation on to its 8.7MP camera.
Nokia Lumia 925 got a fused polycarbonate body and metal frame giving the phone slim-line good look, which also lends robustness and functions as an antenna. It features the powerful PureView imaging technology, including Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) which makes it easy for people to capture bright, blur-free photos and videos every time even in low light conditions. It includes a 8.7 mega pixel camera on back featuring a high-quality, wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens along with short pulse high power dual LED flash.
Lumia 925 spots a 4.5-inch AMOLED display protected with scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 2 which offers superior brightness and sunlight performance making it easy to see the content even on the sunniest summer day. Its powered by a 1.5GHz dual core, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS.

Nokia also introduced its Smart Camera mode, coming as an update to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones, which offers an easy way to capture ten images at once and edit the pictures with options like Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion Focus for creating the perfect high quality image. In addition Nokia brings a Hipstamatic’s new app, Oggl allowing people to take and share high quality pictures with like-minded creatives and photography enthusiasts from around the world. In addition to sharing photos on Oggl, users can simultaneously share photos on social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Tumblr, Flickr and Instagram.
As always Lumia 925 comes per-loaded with variety of apps build from Nokia which includes the HERE Maps, HERE Drive+, HERE Transit and HERE City Lens. Nokia is also offering free unlimited music streaming using Nokia Music with Mix Radio.
Nokia Lumia 925 is available in selected markets for Euro 469 (approximately Rs 34,000) beginning June 2013 and it’s excepted to available in India during the 4th quarter of 2013.
