Nokia today announced the launch of Nokia X2-01 . Nokia states that is one of the most inexpensive 3G handset with Series 40 operating system. It has standard features like 3.2 mega pixel camera with video recording, screen display of TFT type with a screen resolution of 240×320 pixels . There’s also a music player, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and it can handle memory cards up to 16GB. Note that, unlike the original Nokia C2-00, this is a single SIM device.

Nokia C2-01 comes with Nokia Messaging for email and instant messaging. SMS and chat messages are now displayed in a conversational (threaded) view. You get the Ovi Store for new apps and Ovi Music for tunes. In selected markets, the Nokia C2-01 will come with the Ovi Life Tools service.

Physically, it’s 109.8 x 46.9 x 15.3mm and weighs 89g. It will be available from the first Quarter of 2011. The price is expected to be around €70 . That is approximately Rs 4500 approximately. before local taxes and operator subsidies are applied.
