Now you can own the rebirth icon phone. Nokia has officially launched the classic with a modern influence – Nokia 3310 in India. The phone has been launched by HMD Global, the mobile vendor who has the exclusive Nokia brand licensing rights in mobile phones.
How much is the price? Interestingly the Nokia 3310 will be sold at a price tag of Rs 3310. The feature phone will available first via offline retail stores across India starting 18th May 2017. You get to choose from Gloss finish Warm Red and Yellow, and Matte finish Dark Blue and Grey.

So what’s changed? The new Nokia 3310 keeps the classic design but now the upper part is changed to a 2.4-inch QVGA polarised and curved screen. The polarised layer over the screen allows better readability even in direct sunlight. Overall the phone got a toughened plastic body covering the front and back. According to the company, the phone is still thin, light and incredibly durable.
The Nokia 3310 runs on the Nokia Series 30+ operating system from the Symbian age. The phone comes with 16 MB of internal storage. But wait you can add a microSD card taking the storage alway up to 32GB. On the back, you get a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash support.
Connectivity-wise, the Nokia 3310 will come in both single SIM and dual SIM variants. But the phone will support only the 2G network. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM and comes with Micro USB (USB 2.0). Other than that you have the 3.5 mm AV connector along with support for FM radio. The phone comes with a removable 1200 mAh battery that can last up to a month in stand mode or can offer up to 22 hours talk time. To bring those old memories, Nokia is packing the classic Snake game on the phone.
