India’s pure CDMA only telecom operator MTS India has launched the new ‘Super Unlimited’ data plans on their 3G plus network for Prepaid and Postpaid customers that offers at least 300% more value than data plans offered by other telecom operators.
Under the new MTS Super unlimited plan, Postpaid MBlaze customers will get unprecedented 40 GB unlimited data (data speed will come down to 1X after 40GB) on the 3G plus network for a monthly rental of Rs 999.
For MBlaze Prepaid customers recharging with Rs 999 will get 20GB unlimited data (data speed will come down to 1X after 20GB) on 3G plus network with a validity of 30 days. Earlier the Rs 999 monthly recharge provided only 10GB of data usage. In addition MTS has also introduced more high value prepaid data plans – Rs 1298 MBlaze data plan offers 25GB unlimited data usage with a validity of 30 days and Rs 1498 MBlaze data plan that offers 30GB unlimited data usage with a validity of 30 days.
The new data plans are available for both new as well as existing prepaid and postpaid MBlaze customers across 9 telecom circles including Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, UP West, West Bengal & Kolkata.
MTS Blaze 4.0 Smartphone with 1,00,000 MB data
MTS India has introduced Blaze 4.0 Android based smartphone – featuring 4inch WVGA display, 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3G EVDO + GSM and most importantly 1,00,000 MB of free data usage on MTS 3G plus network.
There isn’t much to talk on the smartphone specification, as it’s a mid-range Android smartphone with affordable price tag. The device is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 Dual Core Processor with 512MB RAM and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. It got a 3.2 front facing camera, 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. It also got WiFi, Bluetooth v 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity options.
The major highlighted feature of the smartphone is the bundled 1,00,000 MB of data usage for a year. Customers buying the smartphone need to recharge monthly an STV of Rs 197 (can change asper telecom circles) to get one lakh worth data usage on MTS 3G Plus network. Unused Balance can be carried forward for 1 Year from data activation with a balance carry forward recharge before expiry of validity of unused balance.
Note that the offer is valid for new customers on MTS SIM bundled with MTS Blaze 4.0 and the downloading speed will throttle down to 64 Kbps if usage crossed 10 GB data per month.
