India’s top online shopping destination Flipkart is getting ready for the launch of Motorola’s flagship smartphone the Moto X in India. To spice things up Flipkart on the launch day will be offering special discounts and cash back on every purchase of Moto X.
Flipkart will be offering its customers who are buying the Moto X using their Credit card under EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) scheme with instant Rs 1000 cash back credited back to their card. In addition Flipkart will be also offering flat 70% discount on all Moto X cases purchased along with Moto X smartphone.
Flipkart is reported to be offering the Moto X in five colour variants along with two popular wooden finishes. In US Moto X offered in much more personalized users experience with around 2,000 possible combinations where users can choose the colors, and decide on every details like front, back, rings around the camera, side buttons, accents, memory, wallpapers, even add a name or a short message through an online studio, Moto Maker. But it seems this feature will not make through India and we can only expect to receive a handful of customisation options.
Currently only the 16GB variant of Moto X will be launched in India and reports suggest a price around Rs 25,000. After the sky rocking success of Moto G launch in India, Motorola and Flipkart are making their full effort to position this smartphone correctly and repeat the success. Flipkart is expected to launch the Moto X smartphone on March 19th – 22nd, 2014.
