Along with the bigger sibling Moto G5S Plus, the Lenovo-backed mobile vendor Motorola India has also launched Moto G5S android smartphone. It’s a small bump in the hardware to the Moto G5 launched earlier this year. You get a Snapdragon SoC along with full HD display, 16-megapixel camera, expandable storage and 4G VoLTE.

Motorola has priced the Moto G5S more affordable at Rs 13,999 placing it in the mid-range segment. The mobile will be available exclusively via Amazon India with sales starting today (29th August 2017) at 11:59 PM.

Moto G5S Spec and Features

Motorola has retained the full metal unibody design for Moto G5S giving it a premium look and feel. The mobile flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD 1920×1080 display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. For storage, the mobile carries 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card.

Moto G5S launched in India with Snapdragon SoC, 4G VoLTE

For photography, the Moto G5S boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera which comes with fast focus PDAF. It also features f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support. For selfie addicts, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It features a wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and even got a front LED flash support.

As for connectivity, the Moto G5S supports 4G LTE that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. You also get support for VoLTE, which allows you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2. The mobile runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS with almost stock UI. Fuelling the mobile is the same 3000 mAh battery which comes with TurboPower charger. You can get 6 hours of battery usage in just 15 minutes of charging.
