Finally, the long wait for world’s most powerful console has come to an end. Microsoft has officially launched its top-end Xbox One X console in India. With up to 40 percent more powerful than any other console in the market, the Xbox One X offers immersive 4K gaming and 4K entertainment.

Gamers can get hands-on Xbox One X, which will retail at a price tag of Rs 44,990. The gaming console will be available online via Amazon India, Flipkart and Microsoft India store. You could also purchase the console from Landmark and Croma retail stores across the country.

What’s powering the Xbox One X

Xbox One X is an insane console boasting one of the powerful gaming hardware. The console is powered by Scorpio Engine gaming processor which features 6 Teraflops, 326GB/s of Memory Bandwidth and advanced, custom silicon. For maximum cooling, the console has advanced liquid cooling and the supercharger-style centrifugal fan. It also has a cutting-edge digital power delivery system that custom tunes each console’s voltage to maximise performance and minimise power consumption.

Microsoft launches Xbox One X gaming console in India

Xbox One X comes with 8GB of flash memory, 12GB of GDDR5 GPU and 1TB of internal hard disk storage. This configuration is more than enough to drive native 4K resolutions, High Dynamic Range and Wide Color Gamut. It also has built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player and 4K streaming capabilities.

Making the whole gaming or video viewing experience more immersive is the support for Dolby Atmos. The console comes with DTS 5.1, DOLBY Digital 5.1 and TrueHD with Atmos. Other connectivity features of Xbox One X include dual-band Wi-Fi, IR Blaster, 2 HDMI Ports, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, S/PDIF and Ethernet Port.

4K Gaming

Xbox One X comes with one of the largest and most diverse games lineups. This includes Forza Motorsport 7, Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Cuphead and Super Lucky’s Tale, out of more than 1,300 gaming titles and more than 220 exclusives.

With Xbox One X Enhanced, more games have been updated or built specifically to take advantage of the powerful console hardware and its 4K UHD and HDR capabilities. The best part, the gaming console is backwards compatible and you can play some of the popular titles from the Xbox 360 and original Xbox eras. Back in 2016, Microsoft unveiled the upgraded gaming console the Xbox One S. The One S is 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One launched three years back.
