A sweet combination of Spark series and Vdeo series. Micromax has launched an entry-level android smartphone – Micromax Spark Vdeo in India. The mobile features integrated Google Duo app, 12 regional language support, Snapdragon chipset and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

Going first by the pricing, the Micromax Spark Vdeo got a budget price tag of Rs 4,499. The biggest competition for the mobile would be from Xiaomi Redmi 4A which is around Rs 1500 extra. The mobile will available exclusively via Snapdeal starting 24th March 2017.

Design and Performance

The Micromax Spark Vdeo got a pretty good design with a 4.5-inch FWVGA TN 480×854 display on front. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8909-0 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The mobile carries 8GB of internal storage for keeping all your media contents. You can further extend the storage up to 32GB using microSD card.

On the back, the Micromax Spark Vdeo carries a 5-megapixel camera with flash support. On front, we got a 2-megapixel camera for taking selfies and most importantly for video calling on Google Duo. The mobile also comes one-touch video calling with the help of Google Duo video calling app.

As for connectivity, the Micromax Spark Vdeo got dual SIM capabilities with support for 4G LTE network. The mobile also supports VoLTE for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The mobile runs on Indus OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. One handy feature that packs with the mobile is that you write in 12 Indian regional languages. The whole device is powered by a 1,800mAh battery that company claims to last up to 5 hours on standby or 150 hours talk time.
