Taking its way popular Canvas brand name from smartphone series, Micromax has expanded it to the newly launched Android tablet the Canvas Tab P650. Featuring an 8 inch IPS display, 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, 3G support along with voice calling facility and priced at Rs 16,500.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650 has a sleek design with full aluminum body and spots a 8 inch IPS display. Its powered by an 1.2GHz Quad Core processor along with 1GB RAM. It carries a 5 mega pixel rear camera and an 2 mega pixel front camera for video calling. It got a 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. On the connectivity front the Canvas Tab supports 3G network along with voice calling facility, thus it can be used as a full-fledged mobile too. It runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean which will be soon upgraded to latest version via FOTA (firmware over the air).

In the tab Micromax has integrated the popular applications and smart features from the Canvas Smartphones on to Canvas Tab like multiple video view, pause the video when you are not looking at the screen (look away pause) and video pinning. It also carries lots of pre-installed apps like Spuul, Music Hub, Opera Mini, M! Live and M! Security.

Micromax Canvas Tab P65 will be available on all major online and offline retail outlets from 8th September, 2013 and priced at Rs 16,500.
