Keeping up with the Chinese dominance and to tap the exploding growth in the 4G smartphones in Indian mobile market, the home-grown mobile vendor Micromax has unveiled a budget-friendly 4G VoLTE android smartphone – Canvas Spark 4G.
On a quick glance, the Micromax Canvas Spark 4G packs a 5-inch display, quad-core processor, expandable storage and most importantly 4G LTE with support for VoLTE. Also, you can avail the Reliance Jio welcome offer, which comes with unlimited free voice calling, messaging and 4G data benefits. The smartphone will sell at a price tag of Rs 4,999 and available exclusively via Snapdeal.
The Micromax Canvas Spark 4G got a sleek design with the metal back body and curved edges. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch IPS FWVGA display that’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The mobile is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. For storage, the mobile comes with 8GB of internal storage. These can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
On photography, the Micromax Canvas Spark 4G got a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing cameras. For connectivity, the dual SIM smartphone got 4G LTE supporting all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity options include 3G, 2G, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The smartphone runs on almost stock Android Marshmallow operating system.
