Next wave of super affordable 4G VoLTE support android smartphones is here from the Indian mobile vendor Micromax. Within a few months of launching Bharat 2, Micromax is back with two new android smartphones – Bharat 3 and Bharat 4. The main features of this mobiles include high-speed 4G LTE connectivity, VoLTE support, expandable storage, Android Nougat OS and more.
Micromax’s Bharat series is built for the masses with an affordable price range. The Micromax Bharat 3 get’s a price tag of Rs 4,499 and the much higher spec Micromax Bharat 4 will retail for Rs 4,999. Both these smartphones will be available via online and offline retail outlets across India.
Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 Features
Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 have an identical design with a polycarbonate body that’s rigid and tough. The Bharat 3 flaunts a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a 2.5D glass over the top. Whereas, the Bharat 4 has a better 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D glass over the top. On the front there is no physical home button, instead, you get capacitive touch buttons.
Powering both Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. To store all your media content, the Bharat 3 carries 8GB of internal storage, whereas the Bharat 4 comes with 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage on both devices up to 32GB using microSD card.
For photography the Micromax Bharat 3 packs a 2-megapixel back camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Whereas, the Micromax Bharat 4 sports a 5-megapixel front and back camera. The bac camera features auto-focus, f/2.4 aperture and LED flash support. Connectivity-wise the mobiles support 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telco’s 4G band. These mobiles also support 4G VoLTE for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth option.
Both Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top. Finally, Bharat 3 is fueled by a 2,000mAh battery, whereas the Bharat 4 packs a bigger 2,500mAh battery.
