Touting to offer an immersive viewing experience, Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition in India with 32-inch and 49-inch variants. In addition to the gorgeous design, the televisions come with Mi Quick Wake, that according to the company could wake the new Mi TVs in under 5 seconds.
Before getting into all the new feature-sets, let’s look into the pricing of Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition in India. The 32-inch variant of Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition is priced at Rs 13,499, while the bigger 43-inch model will retail at Rs 22,999. As for availability, the 32-inch model will be a Flipkart exclusive and will be available from September 11. However, the 43-inch model will be an Amazon India exclusive and will be available starting 6 pm on September 15. Both TVs will also be available through Mi Official online store, Mi Home Stores, Mi Studios and Xiaomi’s offline retail partners across the country.

As the name indicates, the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition offers a horizon display or technically bezel-less design that offers a 95 per cent screen-to-body ratio (93 per cent STB in 32-inch model). Thus there is less distraction, offer more immersive viewing experience and wider viewing angle (178-degree). It has a refresh rate of 60Hz and response time of 6.5ms.
The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32-inch model has an HD Ready display with 1366 by 768 pixels resolution. Whereas, the 42-inch model has a full HD display with 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution.
The Mi Horizon Edition TVs are powered by Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine which is a set of software and hardware tweaks. It helps in producing accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts and pinpoint precision in colour reproduction. The TVs run on PatchWall interface which is based on Android TV 9.0. It curates content from more than 23 content partners or OTT providers. It also works exceptionally well with your DTH and cable TV, allowing you to switch between traditional TV content and internet contents. As it packs Google Play, you have the full freedom to download your favourite apps. This TVs also comes with Chromecast built-in.
Under the hood, both the Mi Horizon Edition TVs are powered by an Amlogic Cortex A53 quad-core paired with Mali-45, 1GB DDR RAM and 8GB eMMC internal storage. Connectivity option includes WiFi 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE, USB 2.0, 3 HDMI ports (1 contain ARC), Ethernet port, AV port, S/PDIF port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for sound, both Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition televisions come with 20W (10W x 2) Stereo Speakers with DTS HD.
