Thought the premium flagship device from HTC, the One (M8) will be little too expensive for you? the company has introduced a much affordable version of its flagship device – the all new HTC One (E8). The price reduction comes in the form of a plastic build body and tweaked couple of hardware specifications.
Replacing the metal unibody, HTC One (E8) got a polycarbonate unibody frame with dual curve, ergonomic shape that fits in the hand no matter how it’s held. In addition following the latest trend One (E8) comes in different striking colours including Polar White, Electric Crimson, Maldives Blue, and Misty Gray.
Apart from the external aesthetics, HTC One (E8) features more over the same hardware specification of One (M8). It features a 5 inch full HD Super LCD3 display with a pixel density of 441pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with a internal storage of 16GB which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
On the camera side the device got a 13 megapixel camera on back instead of the Duo Camera on the One (M8). On front its keeping the 5 megapixel wide-angle camera. On the connectivity side One (E8) supports dual-SIM along with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0 and NFC support.
HTC One (E8) runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 KitKat os with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on top. It also packs some exclusive apps like the Motion Launch – that allow controlling the phone with gesture response and HTC BlinkFeed.
