Yet another affordable range of 4G android smartphones with full support for VoLTE from LYF. The Reliance Retail’s subsidiary consumer electronics arm LYF has launched two new smartphones under its Wind and Flame series – LYF Wind 3 and LYF Flame 8.
Both smartphones are affordable, with LYF Wind 3 being the pricey one costing around Rs 6,999. Whereas the more affordable LYF Flame 8 smartphone is priced at Rs 4,199. Both smartphones are available exclusively at Flipkart.
To clear the first doubt in your mind, both smartphones comes with the Reliance Jio 4G preview offer. Where you will get unlimited access to 4G data, voice minutes (VoLTE) and message (SMS) for 90 days.
LYF Wind 3
Coming back to the phone specification, the LYF Wind 3 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 267 ppi. To power the application and games, the mobile got a 1.2-GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8916 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.
For storage, the LYF Wind 3 comes with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. As for photography the mobile packs an 8-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus, face detection, panorama, zoom and flash support. On the front, the mobile got a 2-megapixel camera.
Connectivity wise the dual SIM LYF Wind 3 comes with true 4G with support for all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for making HD voice calls. For storage, the LYF Flame 8 comes with an 8GB inbuilt storage that can be easily expanded using microSD card. On back the smartphone got an 8-megapixel camera that comes with face detection, smile detection, 6X zoom and camera modes. On the front, the mobile got a 5-megapixel camera for taking that perfect selfie.
